500 Days of Bow Ties
Day 500
I’m done. How does it feel? It feels great. Yesterday I felt accomplished. Everything I wore was a favorite. The Nantucket red chinos. The double monk straps. The gingham shirt. The navy blazer. And of course, the bow tie. Did I think I would ever stop? Yes of course. Wearing a bow tie with the flu isn’t fun. It’s really hot in NYC and in Fresno during the summer. Looking back, it was all worth it. These past 500 days, I met some great people, I met the love of my life, and I got a ton of free bow ties.
Huge thanks to Reeve’s Bow Ties, CottonTreats, Louis Lien, Forage, This Humble Abode, Benjamin Azevedo, American Armadillo, Jery McKinney, John Henric, Diane Warner, and if I forgot you, I apologize. For those who photographed, Todd, Kaz, Margaret, Chelsea, Zach, Jess, Audrey, Carly, mom, Annie, Bryan, Ronald, Tyson, and Sam.
This morning (day 501), it felt like Christmas. I’m wearing Lebron’s, dark denim and a white v-neck.
Do what you love and do it often.
Dress code: bow tie (CottonTreats), double monk straps (Howard Yount), chinos, shirt, blazer (all by Rugby)
